( Freedom All the TIME )

Coca-Cola wants everyone to imagine a world without labels. And as an example, the beverage company is dropping its own.The backs of the cans bear the message “Labels are for cans, not people.” Though it’s creative, what Coke is doing is nothing new to the marketing world. But anyway its a Beautiful AD, I hope this new ad is a hit only for the message But Avoid COKE… Also i have included another VDO with the same message but with more Surrealism…Remember Don’t be too quick to judge people.

The moment some stranger sees you, his or her brain makes a thousand calculations: Are you someone to approach or to avoid? Are you friend or foe? Do you have status and authority? Are you trustworthy, competent, likable, confident, and so on.

And these calculations are made at lightning speed — making major decisions about one another in the first seven seconds of meeting.

However, in this campaign ad run by Coca-Cola, the ‘seeing’ part is missing. They invited six strangers to sit in a dark room together. One-by-one, they share their stories with each other.

When the lights come on, they are astonished.  there is total mayhem as everyone discovers that their perceptions are completely off. The ‘nerd’ has face tatoos and the heavy musician is bespectacled and dressed conservatively. One of the men at the table even admits that he would never sit and talk to one of the guys, if he had chanced upon him anywhere else, based purely on his appearance. Their reactions are proof that “judging a book by its cover” is never a good idea.

Is it harmful? Yes! Do we all do it? Yes! Do we have to let it affect us? No! Stereotyping, or labeling, is when you make assumptions about people that you don’t really know. Many people label each other without realizing it. Labels are hard to shake, and they can be really damaging to all of us. Don’t give in to labeling others. Empower yourself by creating your own labels. Show the world that you are more than the assumptions they make.

A short-film that teaches us that we shouldn’t be too quick to judge people.
