Big pharma is spending millions to shut down medical marijuana. It seems all the big drug companies are worried about the rising awareness of medical marijuana as an alternative to painkillers.
Here are some examples of companies who are all funding anti-marijuana activism.
- The makers of the drug Fentanyl spent $500,000 to fight marijuana legalization- in Arizona. (This drug was linked to Prince’s death)
- Purdue Pharma (Oxycontin)
- Janssen (Nucynta)
- Reckit Benckiser (Nurofen)
It estimated that over the last decade these companies and others have spent a total of $880 million on fighting marijuana.
A new study says marijuana may relieve some of the symptoms of multiple sclerosis.
Marijuana contains anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and probably anti-cancer compounds in it.
Researchers studied 21 men and women and found there were no negative side effects.
